For the campers who are literally dying
to reach Costa Brava, the good news is- this costal area offers
more extended services than just fishing.

handicrafts in the villages of the Costa Brava have great
popularity to tourists.
Traditions are the lives of the real natives of this part of
the country. Nevertheless, the campers in Costa Brava are
likely to find the natives friendly and welcoming,
Climate of Costa Brava: To all of this we must
add that the rocky, wild, and rugged setting of the Costa
Brava is allied to a climate which is mild and gentle even
in winter. The sky is Blue and the sea is warm almost all
over the year. The crystal clear see exposes strong colors
and tones of the submarine plant-life. Among the exotic
flora-fauna there are:
Pine,
cork-oak,
almond,
citrus and carob trees,
rosemary and thyme,
The campers are likely to fall in love with the steep cliffs
over the waters of the Mediterranean. Same appeal of beauty is
held in the clinging to the rocky ledges. These rocky ledges
contrast with the golden sand of Costa Brava beaches and
coves.
Why camping is so popular at Costa Brava: For any tourist
spot, the truth is- increasing demand raises all sorts of costs
for the tourists. This applies more to accommodation costs. So,
camping is a viable option for economy seekers, as this comes
next to free compared to the cost of staying in hotels. In
Costa Brava, this is no less true. In fact, only the campers
can get the most out of the breath-taking beauty of Costa
Brava’s coastline. Interestingly, even the entire residential
towns stands along the coast. This way, the tourists can enjoy
the blend of town hospitality along the coast while camping
near the village sites.
Alternative accommodations: The number of hotels in Costa
Brava seems to be ever-growing. At different parts of Costa
Brava there are magnificent arrangements for catering. For
virtually people of all classes and income groups, there are
some sort of paid arrangements for accommodations. There are
great looking apartment blocks. But best of all there are all
types of camping spots at Costa Brava. The camping
installations have grown with the tourism industry of Costa
Brava, in keeping with the growing demand of sight-seers and
campers.
Communication to Costa Brava: The Barcelona-Portbou railway
is the main access/transportation to Costa Brava. But the
tourist cannot unfortunately enjoy the village sights while
traveling by train as, the train line does not pass through the
majority of the coastal villages. Rather, the traveler needs to
go along a series of branch-lines for getting to them. The
narrow-gauge railways and road transport by buses are
alternative options to travel through the villages of Costa
Brava. The following railway stations are linked to each other
and are great ways to travel through the country sides of Costa
Brava:
Figueras,
Gerona,
Caldes de Malavella,
lanes and Flassa with places on the Costa Brava.
The bus companies of Costa Brava: For the
campers, this is useful to know that there are two major
bus companies in Costa Brava. These companies run bus
services from Barcelona to different villages on the
coast. One of these companies provides continual
communications with and among-
Palafrugell (passing through Lloret de Mar),
Tossa de Mar,
Llagostera,
Sant Feliu de Guíxols and
Palamós,
The other bus company runs its buses from Barcelona to
Torroella de Mongrí. These routes of this company passes
through-
Sant Feliu de Guíxols,

Sea-links via motor-launches: Who ever said that all campers
do is camping? Yes, camping is fun! But what to do during the
day time of our precious vacation? In Costa Brava, there are
great sea-links via motor-launches for the campers. This links
and vehicles actually are offered for establishing
communications between te coastal villages from Blanes to
Tamariu. These launches/boats are also viable communication and
fun experience as they are used as a host of private boats to
take one wherever one wants to go.
The air routes: Costa Brava is undoubtedly an exceptional
coastal region, The exceptional air route to this part of the
world is connect by the Gerona-Costa Brava airport. This air
port stands close to the provincial capital. In line with the
increasing number of tourists coming here every year, this
airport now has the capacity to let all kinds of aircraft
land.
As this airport is right in the middle of the Costa Brava,
all camping zones around Costa Brava are equally distant from
this airport. In other words, the tourists will find all the
tourist centers of the coast equally far from the airport.
Moreover, this airport has all the installations and services
required by contemporary aviation.
